"EXPOS-PARADES-FAIRS
CENTENNIAL-EVENTS-PAGEANT POSTCARDS #1"
WALTSPAPER

These postcards reflect the many events that took place in the many cities throughout the world and U.S. over the past years since the late 1800's. Many designs were used to show the various views of any one Exposition. Many were made in a poster type fashion and even some comical cards were made.
----There were cards put out exclusively by the many Expo's. and, also privately published cards of all varieties for these events. Many of them, in the late 1800's and early 1900's, were printed on Postal cards printed by the USPO with the Authorized by congress etc. printed on them! They are classed with the Pioneer and Private Mailing postcards. This is a highly collected topic!
