1903-1930-- Postcards showing Santa claus in all his various colored suits and actions has been so much fun for collectors throughout the years. His jolly face and jello belly are shown on many cards. The early cards(1900's) had him doing all kinds of activities. Most of the early cards were embossed and had many bright colors on them. Most of those were made in Germany, as the printing process had not been very well perfected in the U.S.. There were even Hold-to-light Santa's, but those are very difficult to find and are very expensive!
