world that is very heavily collected. Most of the lighthouses are still in existence,which makes it even more interesting to collect the postcards that werepublished at the turn of the century on the many lighthouses throughout the U.S.A., and the
world. It must also be said that many postcards have been published on lighthouses since the turn of the century on this subject on thru the linen era and into today's chrome period.For those that are interested in more detail! There
is a lighthouse collectors club in San Francisco, California: United States Lighthouse Society, 244 Kearny St., 5th floor, San Francisco, Ca. 94108 (415)362-7255. They have over 6,000 members, who collect artifacts and lore about lighthouse
