"WOMEN POSTCARDS"
WALTSPAPER

Here is a topic that both women and men try to collect, for many reasons, but the beauty of some of the cards that were turned out at the turn of the century was fantasic. Many publishers did some excellent work in this area. The signed ASTI cards are an example as well at the STENGEL's. Many areas that were covered was bathing beauties, glamour girls, art reprod.,Suffrage, pinups, art nouveau famous women in history, romance and on and on! The tough side of this topic is that the cards are not that easy to find and are quite expensive for the top of the line types. Even with this problem, one can still put together a fine collection that represents this topic, and still be very enjoyable. If you have deep pockets you can really get hooked here. The earlier 1900 cards are the ones that can be expensive. The scope of this topic is very large, as you will find if you ever get started into it, but don't let that discourage you. ENJOY ...
